Decorating the Billiard Room

If you have a room with a pool table in it, you will want to decorate that room.  Decorating the room will make the whole gaming experience much better.  If you are creative, it will make the whole process easier.  If you are not that creative, here’s some ideas you might be interested in.

Color

The color of the wall and the color of the pool table is very important.  You will want to make the pool table stand out as much as possible.  For this reason, try to stay away from coloring your wall the same color as the pool table.  Most pool table will come with the playing area as green or red.  The choice of color for the wall should be something neutral such as beige or eggshell white.  These two color will definitely make the pool table stand out.

Lighting

The lights you have in the pool room is very important to playing pool.  You will want as much light on the pool table to have a good aim on the balls.  Most people like to put a light fixture right above the pool table and the rest of the room dim.  However, it all depends on your taste.  Some people prefer to have the whole room lit.  So this is really a matter of choice on how bright you want the billiard room to be.

Other things

Having pictures on the wall add a nice touch to the billiard room too.  However, you don’t want to have too many pictures as it can make the room look crowded.  Other things you can have is a couch, TV, or even a wet bar.  Since this is where your place to play, you will want to make it as comfortable as possible.
