Pool Gloves

To play your best game in pool, you will need all the right equipment and accessories.  One the accessories that you will need, but optional is pool gloves.  The gloves can is also known as cue gloves and billiard gloves.  Whatever you want to call it, it will help improve your game.

Pool gloves helps the players by reducing the friction between the cue and your hands for a consistent stroke.  Most players like to go with the 3-finger glove since you only need those fingers to play.  By reducing as much friction from the cue, the stroke will be much smoother, accurate and consistent.

Pool gloves can be customized to the player’s personal taste and preference.  They are made for both right hander and left hander.  Customized gloves are made using different materials to give you a better feel and grip.  If you have one customized, you’ll be able to tell the difference between the one that is available at the store and the one you have customized.

If this is your first time wearing a pool glove, it will feel a little strange because your hands are not used to it yet.  Over time, you’ll get to know your glove and how to use it properly.

When choosing pool gloves, the quality will determine the price.  Of course, the better the material is used to construct the gloves, the more it will cost.  Most of the time, you’ll be able to tell the price from just feeling the materials used.

Pool gloves are not necessarily needed to play pool, but it will help you a lot if you have sweaty palms.  Try one out and play with it to see if it improves your game.  If not, you can always go back to using your hand to play pool.
